MARLENE DIPPENAAR – Managing Director
Marlene started her career in the aviation industry in April 1980, when she joined South African Airways as an air hostess. She joined the training department as a trainer conducting training for pilots and cabin crew members.
She was promoted to the position of Manager in Safety Training, where her duties included training of Safety and Emergency Procedures, Dangerous Goods, Security and Crew Resource Management for Flight Deck and Cabin Crew Members.
She further expanded her portfolio when she became a project member of the Civil Aviation Licensing Programme and was responsible for compiling training materials for the South African Airways Licensing Project.
Marlene was later promoted to Senior Manager of Safety and Service training at SAA where her responsibilities included assisting in the recruitment and selection process of South African Airways personnel. She was also a member of the leadership team who planned and implemented touch points into South African Airways under the auspices of the Executive Vice President.
ISABEL DE OLIVEIRA – Director of Training & Quality Assurance
Isabel joined South African Airways in 1983 as an air hostess and worked through the ranks to reach the top position of In-Flight Service Coordinator. She later joined the training department as a trainer and qualified in both service and safety training, which allowed her to present safety training to both pilots and cabin crew members.
She is a qualified Facilitator, Assessor, Moderator and South African Civil Aviation Authority Designated Examiner. She was also involved in many safety and service projects conducted by SAA including assisting in compiling training materials and curricula for cabin crew and pilots during the SACAA licensing process.
Isabel has assisted foreign airlines in achieving and maintaining IOSA accreditation and has also been contracted to conduct training for airlines in both English and Portuguese.
Since leaving SAA, she has conducted training for numerous international and national airlines and aviation training organisations.
