Day 1
Aviation Medicine training (AVMED) Sr René writes:
We had a lovely day we had yesterday, Monday, 14 March. We started the day off with introductions allowing the learners to get to know each other a little better then started off with CPR, Adult, Child and Infant. Choking, AED Application and CPR skills were practiced! The learners thoroughly enjoyed applying these skills, and were performed with a lot of enthusiasm.
Well, the highlight of the day, was visiting the Aircraft, and actually managing a few On-board Medical Emergencies! Once again I realized why I love my job so much………seeing the way that Cabin Crew can manage an On-board medical emergency makes me so proud! Excellent skills were performed, good communication, as well as some good laughs.
Looking forward to Day 2.
